Vu que je vois que ya pas de topic sur ce magnifique groupe je vais le créer

Biographie :
C'est en 1984 que le groupe est formé par Hansi et André et se nomme au début Lucifer's Heritage. C'est sous ce nom qu'ils sortent deux démos (Symphonies Of Doom et Battalions Of Fear) avec des line-up différents. En 1987 le groupe change de nom pour celui que nous connaissons actuellement et sors ses premiers albums en 1988, 1989 et 1990. Battalions Of Fear et Follow The Blind sont à ce jour les albums les moins intéressant du groupe, le thrash/speed à la Helloween qu'il propose n'est pas vraiment très convaincant mais certains titres comme Majesty, Valhalla ou Banish From Sanctuary sont encore aujourd'hui encore très prisés en concert.
Tales From The Twilight World marque un tournant dans la carrière du groupe car c'est dans celui-ci qu'apparaissent les claviers de façon plus significative. Somewhere Far Beyond continue cette évolution qui atteins sont apothéose dans Imaginations From The Other Side qui est considéré pour beaucoup comme le meilleur album du groupe. Nightfall in Middle-Earth sort alors que nous somme en 1998 et les fans en prennent aussi pour leur oreilles, cet album est un concept basé sur l'histoire du Silmarilion de Tolkien dont Hansi est un grand fan. A Night At The Opera sort 4 ans plus tard et il ne sera pas accueilli aussi bien que son prédécesseur, il est à l'image de sa pochette, surchargé. C'est d'ailleurs cette nouvelle orientation musicale qui aura valu le départ de Thomen en 2005 qui sera remplacé par Frederic pour la sortie en 2006 de A Twist In The Myth, le dernier album en date.

Le groupe travaille aussi depuis plus de 10 ans sur un album orchestral qui devrait sortir en 2008.

Blind Guardian est le groupe dont je suis fan, le groupe qui me fait rêver, le groupe qui me transporte, bref je n'ai presque aucune objectivité en ce qui le concerne ( ). Je collectionne d'ailleurs presque tout ce qui le concerne.

Non sérieusement, j'adore ce groupe, en concert c'est excellent, en studio tout autant...

Bonne présentation, on sent le passionné. Blind guardian j'ai découvert au Hellfest en juin dernier et j'ai vraiment bien accroché ! Après je connais pas beaucoup donc je pourrais pas en dire plus mais voila, j'aime bien

Si tu as aimé au Hellfest, essaye de trouver quelques albums et approfondis

Je suis allé les voir au Hellfest, sans attendre grand chose. Je ne suis pas du tout (mais alors pas du tout) fan de heavy mais j'ai pris une bonne baffe tout simplement. Je m'écoute Nightfall in Middle Earth de temps en temps, il est vraiment excellent. J'ai pas eu trop le temps ni la motivation d'aller beaucoup plus loin (j'en ai écouté d'utres mais ils m'ont pas trop accroché).

Personellement, je ne connais que Follow The Blind et Nightfall in the Middle Earth... mon préféré est le deuxième ^^

En même temps, si c'était l'inverse, t'aurais des goûts de chiotte
